The AT Advocacy Coordinator assists clients in determining and acquiring the Assistive Technology (AT) devices needed for them to live independently.

Duties:

• Manage client cases, general advocacy.
• Develop resources for clients to fund their AT.
• Manage a peer support group (classes and/or Zoom) for client support.
• Assist clients in AT needs for housing and advocacy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree social services or related field; or a minimum of four (4) years’ experience working within this field.
• Professional or personal experience with disabilities a plus.
• Detail-oriented with good organization and multitasking skills. Good oral, written and professional communication skills. Customer service attitude. Ability to work with others and willingness to help others.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• MS Excel and other MS office software (Word, Outlook).
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
